Meet the Team

Pip Catchpole

Pip is the director of and a practicing clinician within Dynamic Results.  She has a Postgraduate Diploma with a focus on Occupational Science along with a bachelor of Health Science Degree in Occupational Therapy.  Pip is also trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Over the past 14 years she has worked extensively in vocational rehabilitation as well as having working various area of speciality rehabilitation including hand therapy, spinal rehabilitation and neuro rehabilitation.

Pip is a mum of 2 young kids and a very large Bernese Mountain Dog called Murphy.  Her personal goals are to one day swim the Cook Strait, & a scuba dive in The Great Blue Hole in Belize.

Courtney O’Connell

Courtney has a bachelor of Occupational Therapy and a certificate in Mental Health and Recovery although she believes that personal qualities of compassion, collaboration and hopefulness are as important as qualifications. She has worked within mental health services for over 7 years in a range of settings and with a range of age groups, from adolescent to older adults.

Courtney defines Recovery in mental health as the ability to turn adversity into personal growth and has a deep appreciation for the pursuit to understand and overcome the challenges we face to live life well. She believes that people are the experts in their own recovery journey and as a health practitioner she strives to work alongside people to rediscover their power.

Courtney has spent the last five years traveling the world and living and working in the UK and Australia where she has been lucky enough to meet great people and work in innovative mental health projects. She is now kept busy with her baby boy and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Mikki Blayney

Mikki has a Bachelor of Health Science (Occupational Therapy) from AUT and is currently studying towards a Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation at AUT. She enjoys focusing on a holistic approach, working collaboratively with others to develop clients unique skills to help them successfully achieve their goals.

In her spare time she enjoys dancing, wakeboarding, surfing and exploring the outdoors.

Katrin Schallau

Katrin graduated from AUT University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Occupational Therapy. She currently continues to study part time and works towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Rehabilitation, while enjoying being part of the Dynamic Results team.

Katrin is originally from Germany and has lived in New Zealand since early-2010. She loves the ‘Kiwi way of life’ and enjoys always being close to the beach! Katrin has worked in vocational rehabilitation since 2014. She has a special interest in cognitive rehabilitation and supporting clients who experience mental health issues in their recovery. In her free time, Katrin enjoys Pilates, hiking, horseback riding, kayaking and gardening.

Her goals for 2017 are to do more of the above and to train in mindfulness based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Katrin is also interested in becoming a Pilates instructor; however, this is currently still on the ‘maybe a goal’ list 😉

Melissa Brain

Melissa has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree.

She has specialised in the field of vocational rehabilitation since 2009. She previously worked at Middlemore Hospital in many areas of rehabilitation including hand therapy and orthopaedics (inpatient and outpatient).
Melissa enjoys working with both clients and employers to ensure they understand the challenges and benefits of returning to work post-injury, and is always open to discussion and problem solving.

After travelling and working in Asia, she is now mum to three children who are actively engaged in sports (as is her sports mad husband) and is now volunteering as a girls’ cricket coach.

Kirsty Handrick

Kirsty is from Auckland and is married with 3 children. She has been with Dynamic Results as both a contractor and employee for about 5 years. Kirsty has an administrative role and has the crucial tasks of transcribing reports to support the efficiency and work flow within the team.

Mary Reed

Mary joined the team in 2016 and comes with a vast business knowledge. Having experience in owning her own well established company and, more recently was Office Manager for a Software Development company. Mary brings business and practice management skills to support the smooth running of the office.

Mary lives on a lifestyle block with her husband. She enjoys travel and has a passion for cooking. Mary is a keen Genealogist and is currently researching her family tree.

Beth Phillips

Beth grew up in the UK where she gained her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and Post Graduate Certificate in Vocational Rehabilitation, before relocating to New Zealand in 2016.
Beth has a diverse clinical background in community mental health, community rehabilitation including orthopaedic and neurological conditions, as well as vocational rehabilitation.

Beth values continuing education, training and evidence based practice, as well as working as part of a wider team, to support her clients to achieve their outcomes.
Beth enjoys travelling, Pilates and exploring all that New Zealand has to offer.

Anna Nicholson

Anna has a Bachelor of Health Science (Occupational Therapy) from AUT University. She has previously worked at Auckland City Hospital in a variety of clinical settings, including acute Neurology and Neurosurgery. She has a passion in traumatic brain injury and neurological conditions. Anna enjoys running with her dog, fishing, diving and being outside.
